Default brakes

i have a 2007 lexus is250. whenever im trying to stop the vehicle, i have to push the brakes really far almost flooring it to slow down. is there a way to make the brakes more sensitive so i dont have to push so far. ive checked all the brake pads and theyre almost new

No expert, but sounds to me that it's more an issue with your brake fluid needing to be bled vs pads

I would check the brake fluid level. If it's low adding some fluid can help, but if there is a problem with the master cylinder, then there's nothing you can do except replace it. Have you had the brake pads changed recently or has anyone done a brake fluid flush recently?
