I thought on putting a RR Racing supercharger on my 2008 IS250
How reliable is it
Is it going to ruin my engine?

not sure if anyone on the forums has done it yet. You'd be better sending an email to RR racing directly. They are super helpful. Judging by some posts I've seen for supercharging the ISF engine, make sure your engine is in good shape and health before doing it. Doing a carbon cleanup via a walnut blast and making sure your compression is within spec is a good start.

 

there's any engine tunes to make the is250 faster?

Hm I've got the RR racing tune and I think it makes the IS250 a bit more livelier. I can't speak to the performance numbers but I just assume its faster because of the increased redline to 7200 rpm and extra 20hp on the top end.

 

On the IS350, the RR Racing tune increases hp by 15 or 20 hp by raising the RPM to 7200. Not sure if it is worth paying $500 for only such a small amount of gain on an IS250
