I have recently acquired an IS350 to replace my now totalled GS400 (hence the account name) and have come upon a weird issue. I had issues starting and fixed the issue but have come upon all new issues. When started and in park, the dash lights do not work, but when in D or R they work, N does not illuminate the dash either. When shifting to either it's fine but when shifting afterward (P>R>D) it will stall. The CEL and VSC issue went away and came back since the video..

I am stumped as to what to do, the only codes that pop up are (out of nowhere) 1201 and crank sensor, previously all crank and cam position sensors but now it's just those two if any codes at all.

This all started after letting it sit for 8 hours after driving to work, no previous CEL at all. Got it to start by changing starter relay and pushing a wire back into the starter solenoid. For some reason now when starting it keeps the starter engaged until I pull the relay. Another issue I'm stumped with, and I've done it with two new relays.

Well later that day I went to start the car again to no avail, let it sit in the parking lot for two days, came back and he starts, just not on first button press, happened twice within 10 presses. Cluster is back to normal except still saying the crank sensor went out and a cam sensor (with no indication which sensor) P0335, P0340, C1201. Still stumped as to how this happened with no indication of an issue, though it seems part of the starting issue is a wire that doesn't secure well going to the starter solenoid.

I now have to put the car in acc mode then it starts right up and all codes are gone, no CEL, no VSC light. Not sure as to what happened exactly but everything seems to work fine now, I am so confused.
