Diff fluid question on IS250 AWD

Hi there,

Im planning to replace fluids in both diffs, but Im having an issue to find 80W90 hypoid in Canada for front diff, which is recommended based on service manual. Did anyone use 75W90 GL-5 insted? Any feedback would be appreciated.

You are correct, they do not. When it comes to 75W90 I have plenty of choice.

Just checked Redline it looks like they stopped offering it. Now amsoil carries it go figure.

I recently changed the rear Differential fluid on my 2010 IS350 with Amosil Severe Gear 75W-85 part number SVGPK-EA and 10K miles later everything is running extremely smooth. You would need 2 X quarts for the rear dif, not sure about the front
