IS350 AWD Wheel Question
I am trying to find a set of wheels that will fit my car and not have brake clearance issues or rubbing issues on stock suspension (i am not opposed to having to roll fenders or run a small spacer thats fine)
The wheels im interested in were either the Aodhan DS02 or the ESR SR08 and ive only found 1 person running each on an is350 on instagram , the one running the ds02 hasnt responded to my questions but they are running an 18x9.5 +30 with 235/40 tires according to fitment industries but they are lowered with -3camber and says they had to roll rear fenders. They are not AWD though would i be able to run that same setup on stock suspension.
Would like either Wheel in 18s the offset is whats confusing to me

I have a 2012 Lexus is350 AWD Running Aodhan DS02's Vacuum black 18x9.5 +30 square setup. Running 235/40r18's and lowered on H&R Springs. The Rims fit, and I'm going to have to roll and my fenders this weekend quite a bit to avoid any rubbing. My biggest concern was the clearance between the IS350 stock big brakes on the front. The clearance between the Caliper and the spoke of the DS02's where about 1mm which is extremely low. Other forum people keep mentioning wheel flex under heavy cornering. I still don't run the spacers but I do have 3mm spacers just incase I see evidence of damage on the inner spokes. With stock suspension, I would think you would be completely fine and probably just have to roll the fenders without any pulling.

I have installed the Rims/tire combo onto the car. I forgot to mention I am running 235/40r18 Michelin Primacy MXM4's. They are stretched but this is needed in order to clear the fenders. I did roll the rear fenders because of the 90 degree tab that holds the fender liner. It may not be necessary but I did it anyways. The fronts were untouched and slight rubbing on really big dips going high speeds. When I was planning to roll the front fenders, it seemed the fenders were already rolled from factory. This may be a facelift change from the 2009-2013 IS Models. I haven't seen a pre-facelift IS but it seems everyone needs to pull and roll their fenders. No rubbing or clearing issues. A slight rub on full turn and contact on the front bumper fender liner. Good luck to you if you decide with the DS02's! I Couldn't be more happier with the rim/tire setup I have.
