I may look into F Sport suspension upgrades at a later time (I only have a bit over 60k on the odometer)

But if you are looking for a power upgrade, RR Racing has a Supercharger kit that will get you to 455 WHP with headers and an exhaust. Then you won't be bored for awhile

My next car is ISF too. perks of the ISF over my car... LSD and Tranny response mainly is what I want. I'd just keep my current IS350 as a daily since it's not worth anything if I sold it and had to replace it with another daily cost wise.
Too much trouble to find a reliable installer for OSGiken on the IS350 (I've been debating this with myself for a while now), and even then the transmission in the IS350 still isn't as fun as a 6MT swap(looked at SARD kit but $$) or ISF locking converter...

My only problem with getting an ISF...the wife. She is very frugal when it comes to finances, so convincing her that we "need" it will be the tough part. Since my 2010 IS350 is still low miles (a bit over 60K) and still relatively new looking, I'm going to keep it. It does have an E-LSD, but it's not the same as the traditional mechanical LSD, but does do the job. I'm thinking next year to put in an RR Racing Cusco RS LSD. They are not very expensive and since I'm going to keep the car long term it would be worthwhile upgrade

How is it going gentlemen. My first time posting on this site. I just copped a 2013 lexus is350 f-sport with 120kmiles here in San Diego,Ca. Black exterior and black interior. Very clean ride. 2nd owner. The seller provided physical maintenance records from Toyota since the car was always dealership serviced. I'm really happy with my purchase since I got a solid deal on it. Anyways , I already installed the Takeda intake , F-sport springs, vland headlights and tail lights. Installed Roof spoiler and duck spoiler all painted black oem color. Made the car look more aggressive. What do you guys recommend as my next mod....F-sport exhaust axle back ($1,500 shipped) or F-sport sway bars ($495 shipped) ? The stock exhaust is very quiet until the Takeda takes over.

I dont know your situation financially but I think the f sport exhaust is overpriced new for just an axleback. like yeah its OEM and does sound good but theres other options that is way cheaper and can sound similar. If you can find one used, which hardly comes up in the market, then it might be worth it otherwise I do recommend the sways first. Thats my favorite mod that I done so far. And give some time and look into other exhausts for one you might like. A few months ago I was just one click away from ordering the f sport exhaust. I already typed my credit card info in but i changed my mind at the last second because of how expensive it is. Now I have my eyes set on a Tanabe.

Your right. Just tonight I was thinking about whether to pull the trigger on my ebay shopping cart or not for the f-sport axleback and thankfully I didnt pull it. $1,500 for just an axleback is not a wise investment. Right now I have my scopes on the Joe Z full catback exhaust for $1,400 shipped. Is that a good exhaust? I heard tanabe is the quietest aftermarket exhaust for the is350.

i think the Joe Z one is discontinued I’m pretty sure. Mod in Japan website says it’s in stock but I heard from others recently that it’s actually not in stock and they don’t update it. Email them to confirm that before you place the order.
mixing the tanabe and the invidia midpipe sounds good to me and is a popular choice among people here at least when the 2IS was still new. It really wakes up the tanabe and it’s not so quiet anymore. However, currently the tanabe is on backordered until like July or August I been searching for a used one for over a month. I also like the way the invidia q300 with the invidia midpipe sounds like as well.

I sent them a message through their Ebay listing. I called their cali number on their mod in japan website. I sent a text message to their messaging phone number on the mod in japan website as well. No answer. Maybe I should try emailing them. I dont understand why they are not receptive to a potential customer's question.

What do you have on your exhaust set up do you have on your lex right now? I heard good things about the invidia midpipe.

i wouldn't get rid of a car just because of no LSD or upgrade to an LSD on the street. I have a factory LSD in my miata and the only place I can really feel it is really being aggressive on the gas on a on ramp. However when making tight corners or in parking lots the LSD makes the car want to understeer so it's a tradeoff.

I get what you mean but I always end up with a big one tire smoke when I accelerate from a right hand turn with TC off, or the TC interferes annoyingly (power cut) when on. My first RWD was a S2000 so I guess I was spoiled by it. I'm used to accelerating out of the turn than waiting for it to straighten completely. Running gripper compound helped a bit but still certain situations I wish I had LSD. And I do take corners hard most of the time so I would highly prefer LSD than none. It really depends on the driving style. I don't speed since I'm deathly afraid of speeding tickets but I do aggressively attack most freeway interchanges/on ramps when it's all clear. I borrow my sister's NB once in a while and I love the LSD in it.
