Up until recently, I had thoughts of updating my navigation map, but I have decided against it due to the unreasonable cost when using my phone is faster and more convenient. I did however find some very useful info that I believe will help those that are curious and/or determining which Gen you have to get your navigation updated. Also, please be advised that the navigation update will not change the way your navigation map display will look, as my intention was to get my 2011 display to look like the 2013-2014 2IS models.
