Drl led
This is my first post. I've been checking some good info on this forum before I went and purchase 2013 IS250.
I've been tying to search for the answer with the issue I have with the DRL LED and couldn't find the right direction to start troubleshooting.
So, the driver side only DRL LED is not coming on. I'm not sure the both sides are on the same fuse but I checked it and they all look fine. The city light (amber) on that side is on.
Do I have a bad LED strip in there or something else I need to check in there?
Thanks

more likely you have a bad connection rather than a bad strip.
what the front end in a collision or can you tell it was repaired?
they don't usually go out unless something was altered or touched.

I dropped the front bumper. After removing the drivers side headlight and one of the bottoms round covers (close to LED strip board) I found a moth got stuck on that side of the board. It looks like one of those covers were off in the past and the bugs got inside.
I'm suspecting that board got short and that's the reason that side DRL Led is not coming on. I already confirmed 12V is coming to that board.
So, at this point I will start searching for a driver side headlight ($$$).
Is there anyway I can disable DRL temporarily till I find a replacement?
