IS 350 VS IS 350 F sport
Hey guys its my first post so please bare with me!
I've been looking for an IS350 for awhile now and I finally stumbled upon an AWD 2011 Lexus IS350.
I want to know the difference between a stock IS350 vs IS350 Fsport. I know some of the differences but I want to know ALL the differences, I.E Front grill, suspension, intake etc.
Also what add ons / packages was offered for the 2011 model and if its worth getting the one i found.
thanks guys.

There is an 2IS buyers guide in the FAQ sticky pinned to the top of this forum; I'll give you the link to it here: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...e-threads.html
The buyers guide has a comprehensive description of the standalone options and option packages.

The IS350 F-Sport was only available in RWD for the 2nd Generation IS.
Specifically, in Canada for 2011-2013 all RWD models are F-Sports, and all AWD models are not F-Sports. Some features included in the F-Sport model were also available in other packages as well.
The F-Sport was very well packaged by default, and all are packaged the same way.
Front bumper spoilers
Upper and lower grilles are different
Black headliner
Seats with additional bolstering
Perforated leather on steering wheel and shift ****
F-Sport badge on fenders and steering wheel
Aluminum sport pedals
Trunk spoiler
18" Wheels (Dark grey with staggered tires)
Performance suspension (shocks, springs, sway bars, rear suspension geometry)
Reduced power steering assist
All F-Sports have Navigation, auto rain-sensing wipers, memory seats, power steering column

FWIW, my US spec 2013 350 F-Sport does not have memory seats or auto rain sensing wipers. It does have everything else. Best of all NO WOOD grain anything and all black interior!
Impossible to pass up in 2017 with USB, 50k mi and 2 owners for $18k.
Jeff do any CAN spec vehicles have electric heated windshield (bottom only) to keep the wipers and glass from freezing? If ever that were an option I would take it.

The windshield glass should be available in the USA without issue. The part numbers are as follows:
56101-53959 - Glass, Windshield (w/Deicer)
84794-33020 - Switch, Windshield Deicer (2010-2011, LH side of the steering wheel)
84794-52010 - Switch, Windshield Deicer (2012-2013, RH side of the steering wheel)
88263-21010 - Relay, Windshield Deicer (LH engine bay relay block, near firewall)
US cars will have the wiring for the relay and the glass itself, up to the dash harness. The dash harness for US-spec cars will likely have the wiring for the switch on Cold Area Spec cars, others may not, I cannot confirm either way. If not, it's a relatively simple thing to add to control the heater circuit.

More O/T:
I need to get on TIS as I am still looking for the white papers to read up on engine and trans functionality as designed back in the day. Can you say with a yes/no is that information there for non-toyota shop login? I have found papers on the A760E for thr FJ, Tundra, Tocoma but not our 350. It has an amazing amount of detail about how it works and that is what I'm looking for.
Thanks again for the heater info....

TIS is a great resource, and the information you see is the same if you're a dealer or not. If you get a TIS account and access a parts catalog online you should be able to confirm a lot. I have a lot of experience from my time working at Toyota and so even though a resource doesn't specifically state something I can usually cross reference a few other things to know the answer to things that don't always seem super clear. Toyota/Lexus is making this more difficult these days though, for example instead of listing what options are for which part number in the parts catalog for the dash harness, they just ask you to check the part number on the old part; not useful for determining if it will have the wiring for a feature such as the deicer.
That said, occasionally there are papers released (like the ones Yamaha released on the 2UR-GSE development, or Toyota releases through SAE or others) that aren't available on TIS. They often go into the engineering decisions behind a design and give more insight as to how it works and not just how to repair it. I think you should take a look through TIS though, even if you just get a short subscription for a few days to check it out.
As for your California-spec car, it is likely not a cold-spec car (unless it was brought in from another area before being sold in California), but it may still have the wiring, you'll just need to take a look.
