I'm trying to figure out how to take alternator pulley cover off. I think the alternator pulley is the grey one in the far right, but I can't seem to be able to pop off the cover. I'd like to try a method shown on the comment in the following Youtube video to get rid of chirping noise. Can someone let me know?
I opened it once to clean out the rust build up to try and fix the chirping (didn't fix it but lots of rust in there good to clean). It took a while of prying with small flatheads and whatever other small tool you can get in that small gap on the outer edge of the cap. Should come off eventually with enough prying the key is to get something small enough in there properly and then work your way around to pop it off.
I think we’re in the same boat, I’m in a 2011 GS 350 and I’m trying to replace my alternator pulley but I’m trying to look and see what tools I need and how I can even unscrew it. But it sounds like it’s a simple as just a prying the cap off with a proper tool. Does anyone know any part numbers 27415-0W131 thinking this might be one it but not totally sure.

Looks like you have a winner. It's more spendy than most as it has a Sprague clutch in it. When abrupt crankshaft deceleration occurs it freewheels.
Do verify from your purchasing site that it is a fit for your application.
PS I'd go OEM, as you don't want to have to pull your alternator again to pull and push a new one on.
