Default VLine VL2 and Reverse

Asking this question to members over your side of 'The Pond' as it seems there are a lot more installs in 250's than in the UK.
when using the VL2 for Audio say and when selecting Reverse gear the screen shows the rear cam view ( like it should) but when coming out of reverse it does not go back to the VLine Audio screen ( music still playing) but shows the Lexus OEM Map screen and to get back to the VLine screen I have to press the Lexus Dash 'Audio' button, is this how it is meant to be ( bit annoying) or is there possibly a software fix coming?

May be worth asking Grom directly, or posting in the VLine thread in the IS-F forum since that's where just about all the discussion about it is: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...rom-vline.html

Mine goes back to VL2 screen after disengaging reverse. Sound like you have a bug. Have you submitted a technical support request via GROM?
They are very quick responding to emails. I experienced the dreaded black screen of death yesterday for the first time. Had to unplug/plug back radio harness for VL2 to reboot properly.

Ok, so it looks like the screen reverting to OEM Navi Map after reverse cam is finished with is the Lexus default ( in the IS anyway).
so after any reversing manoeuvre the Audio button needs to be pressed, no great shake!

Did you turn off the option in your Setting to default to Map view? Not sure if your IS have this function. My GS it's under Settings>General Settings> Auto Screen Change> make sure this is set to OFF. If you don't set this to OFF, it will revert back to Map view. GROM even states this in their installation manual, if you don't set this Off, Vline will not work right. Pretty sure that's your issue.

Excellent info, will check my IS to see if this is the fix.

Well, it looks like the option that you mention is in the IS menu but alas it looks like it is indeed set like you say but it still defaults back to navi map screen after reverse has been used.

I have no clue then...you'll need to contact GROM tech support for help. Make sure you latest updates/firmware.
