Default IS250 More horsepower options

Hey everyone, I'm trying to find more options to add more horsepower to my 2007 IS250. I have a cold air intake installed but I'm wanting to upgrade some more stuff. I've seen a lot of performance threads for ISF's and IS350's but not really for IS250's. does anyone have any suggestions? I'm curious to see what everyone has to offer.

Not that many threads for IS250 performance since it doesn't really get much hp per dollar
Intake +/- 5hp
exhaust ~+5-10 hp
headers (notably PPE) +`15 whp and wtq
tune(notably RR Racing) +22 whp and 5 wtq
supercharger( in development by RR Racing) - early claims of bringing the car up to 300-320 whp with FBO, unreleased

There really isn't a good answer to your question. A cold air intake will only add a negligible amount of added horsepower, if any at all. You could change your entire exhaust, but even that will only add a few extra horses at best. Do you really want more power? Find a different car. There's a reason why people get the 350 or F over the 250. I purchased my IS250 AWD because at the time there wasn't an IS350 AWD yet. I've had RWD cars (Porsche & Lexus) before and wanted AWD for the winter season. I got stuck in my driveway on a paper thin piece of ice with my previous Lexus. It took me 30 minutes to find a solution and I decided that was the last time I wanted to deal with that. I'm sure my neighbors got a good laugh when my entire driveway was clear and dry, but my car had one rear wheel on a tiny piece of ice and was completely stuck. Embarassing!

Just get the PPE headers and a good exhaust plus the tune and you will see a nice difference. Also what i did on my old is250 6spd was a lot weight reduction. That helped out even more. Good luck!

Save your money and buy an IS350 or something with more displacement.. I know its the easy answer, but dumping money into an IS250 to make it faster is a dead end.

If you need the AWD, go for an AWD IS350.

This is my question also... I own a 6speed manual is250 and thats the reason i have a 250. So trade it for a 350 doesn't not apply to me.

I would get a ISF but I don't wanna spend the money, and can't afford the time or money for the 350 engine swap like a another member.

The tune and supercharger sounds appealing.
