Good to hear that most are not having any issues. On the old dashes seems it took a combination of heat, high humidity and UV exposure over a prolonged period to cause problems as Lexus stated in their current letter,

Just purchased my car. It came from Texas and Louisiana. The dash looks fine, but the doors are a mess. Dealership said my dash was not covered under the new ZLZ. I don’t see any historical mention of a dash in the Lexus service records. So it appears it may be original. That’s a good sign the material problem was corrected.

Just want to see if it holds up well against the sun this time which it did so I don't have to worry about getting a cover. I prefer looking at my new dash just the way it is!

If you want to maintain the look of your dashboard, you have to protect it from UV-Sun. Therefore you will need to invest in a good sunshade (one that’s easy to install and stow away), just no 2 ways about it.
