As some of the 2IS owners of IS350s and 350Cs have recently received, there was a recall on the fuel delivery pipe. Does anybody know where this thing is?
Basically, I am trying to figure out if there is any preventative maintenance that makes sense to do - like "free labor", if the disassembly to get the pipe already takes parts off that are wear and tear items...like belts, hoses, filters, etc.. No idea where this is...

Sorry there is no free labor. Lexus will however while your car is in the shop, inspect and will let you know if work is needed on something they find that needs work. This is for sure.

Ehhh, I think YMMV with this, especially depending on what you want done and where the recall work is being done. When I had the VVT actuator recall done a few years ago, I wanted my spark plugs done as well and they were willing to waive the labor and just make me pay the price of the plugs from them (which ended up being $120-150 iirc) since they were already in the engine.Originally Posted by mandyfig
