Yes. Usually they toss in a tank of gas for recalls. They gave me a tank during the valve spring recall (the last one I remember for sure. I don't remember what happened with the airbag recall I did in May), and a tank now from the fuel damper recall. I went in with under a quarter of a tank and came out with a full one.
Need to understand that the minute you get into the dealership and you start looking around the sales floor, there's an opportunity for a sale! A tank of gas is so cheap for a potential sale. And then they get to charge it to Lexus Corp. Win-win!
It looks like the IS250/350 only have one damper? It's next to the trottle body under the intake pipe. It should be a quick fix. I wonder why the 250's aren't on the recall.
This is for the low pressure system, which the IS250 doesn't have. The damper isn't meant to be removed from the fuel rail and so the entire port injection fuel rail is replaced.
My dealership in Canada does this as well. The only caveats I believe are you have to be the original owner and you need to bring it in the dealer where you purchased your car
it used to be you could pull into any lexus dealership in america with your new lexus and get a free wash. don't know if they still do it; likely no. whenever i went on road trips as soon as i arrived in town where i was going, i would first drop in for a car wash at one of the few local dealerships there were around and they actually would have you on your way in under an hour; no more grasshoppers stuck in the grill and bug splatter all over the hood and windshield. i guess it used to be important to help keep all lexus cars on the road looking good and looking clean but that ain't true no more.
got mine done today and a free tank of gas was indeed included. but that ES350 loaner don't know how anyone can live with an ES. that brake dive is otherworldly.

Do you not get to choose which loaner you'd like? I've driven every vehicle except the RC, LC and LFA in the Lexus lineup. I just ask what cars are available when the service adviser asks if I'd like a loaner. They're all F Sport versions as well. .

I know mine allows us to choose, but as far as I know, only between the NX, RX, and ES. They claim the maintenance is too much on the IS/GS/RC since people liked to race them and burn up their tires. I wanted to try out a new IS, but after getting the no, I took the RX. Not entirely sure about the LS/LX/GX since I've never asked.
It depends on the dealer I guess. The only other dealer I know of that I've been to is Lexus of Memphis, and they would loan out GS's for sure since I asked. Not sure about anything else though.

Rallye Lexus and Lexus of Queens are the dealerships I've used and neither of them allow me to choose unfortunately. A GS or IS would have been great.
They are performing the recall on my car at the dealer right now. The loaner is a 18 ES350. The only IS I had as loaner so far was a IS200T, never a IS350. Fell out of place in the ES even it's 11 years younger than my 07.
