guys when taking apart my radiator i discovered a short plastic tube going into a black box on the drivers side, looks like a fuse box. whats going on , whats this for?

 

I think you're talking about the ECU cooling tube.

 

I guess so. But with a radiator being 220°F, and if it leaks, is this a good thing??? Hmmm....

 

It's just an air hose part of the fan assembly. When fans are on it's blowing air in to the box.

 

Ya, I know. I looked at it and gave it the WTF look once. lol

 

I think its more of a ventilation thing than actual air blowing to the ECU. By the physics of it, the fans pull air from the radiator fins and with the vent being in that location, natural air movement would be pulling air from that corner thru the fans.
