"whatyagot", wow, that is amazing. Has anything major been repaired or replaced besides maintenance ? If you don't mind me asking, what grade of oil are you using ?

Water pump at 80k and the regular oil changes and brakes. I'm using Mobil 1 5W20 full synthetic. I have also used Seafoam in the oil 500 miles before a oil change and directly in the fuel tank. Look at my post about how clean the top of my pistons are at 200k miles. I put a camera down each spark plug hole and posted the video.

The Infiniti Gs are all pretty reliable with that 3.5 or 3.7 VQs. When I did my research the only things that usually went wrong were all the electronics like the CD changer. My friend's G37X's rear camera broke and the rear trunk started rusting prematurely. The Q50 I've heard rumors of it being a troublesome car and would probably stay away, plus it has steer by wire boooooo.

Register at the Lexus Owners site with your VIN and you can see all past dealership service records. If you search this 2IS forum there is a video of the noise a failing water pump makes and you may be able to see leaks or crusty dried pink coolant residue around the water pump area if it is starting to fail. You might need to remove the big plastic undercover and/or use a small inspection mirror from the top to check all possible angles.
