Hey guys, I purchased these two GReddy mufflers today for $200 (wasn't going to pass on these). Now the seller has no idea what model they're for, she/he just said they're for a Lexus. Me being me just assumed they're for the 2IS possibly 3IS.

Can anyone confirm they're Lexus first off and possibly which gen? The seller was next to useless.

Could these possibly be fakes? Don't they usually have an embossed logo and writing on the body itself?

Not all models have the embossed or stamped logo on the muffler canister. They look in great condition. Maybe they were for a different model and they adapted them to fit?

Greddy should hav stamps on the bottom of those type of exhuast cuz my SP Elite have it and those in the pic should be Spectrum Elite which was discontinued long time ago, but it could also be the JDM Greddy = Trust Comfort Sport GTS exhaust which is still in production lol...

can't confirm if they will work or are for a Lexus, but a good exhaust shop should be able to modify it to fit.

Just to eliminate a possibility, these are not for the 2nd Gen IS. The exhaust hangers are in the wrong location. The 2nd Gen IS has 2 hangers on the rear of the canisters.

This appears to be a genuine Greddy exhaust since their name is laser etched into the side of the tip. This is standard for a Greddy exhaust and they do not etch on the body of the canister. I had a few for my older Hondas and they were etched in this manner. Knock off companies usually do not take the time to laser etch (including the Tanabe knock offs).
