My Lexus is250 engine turns but won't start!!
I recently sold my Lexus is220 and bought Lexus is250 , which I was involved in a small accident at time of purchase, (just a minor dent on the rear bumper. ) it was transported to the garage , body work done, and know i can't get it to a
started (1st time ), the engine turn but won't start, no error codes when plugged, no warning lights on the dashboard, I even changed the battery & new spark plugs, very expensive from denso , but that didn't help. Someone suggested that some cars do have a cut off button, that cuts fuel when the vehicle is involved in accident ,also known as a (inertia switch) . I checked all over my car but couldn't locate it. Anyone who knows what could be the issue. Or where this button is??

If starter fluid works, there is a cold start low pressure fuel injector in the IM. Confirm with an LED test lamp that if flashes when cranking. If yes, you may need to verify it has proper fuel pressure. Lastly, deposits could over time plug the injector although I find this unlikely. And to a lesser extent, the injector could have failed. Apply 12v to test it and/or measure its resistance. It should not be open.
You can remove it, apply 12vdc and verify it sprays water if you can rig something up. I'm just giving high level coverage. Someone with basic trouble shooting skills should be able to do this.
EDIT: This shows the location of the cold start injector.

Looks like resistance is 1 to 5.6 ohms

Hi MikeFig82,
i exactly what you suggested . Pedal down , some starting fluid, cleaned the fuel sensor , and after 15 mins of trying it did finally start. With the engine light on, when plugged in came up with an error code , coil 0351. I erased the code when for a drive test and the error hasent come back, all seems fine. I hope I won’t have this issue again this morning. Thanks guys for your help. Cheers!
