I think not!

Default My eBay 2is 3is bumper conversion

I should've test fit first before painting.
The aluminum inner bumper has to be trimmed on both ends due to the foglight bucket being resessed.
reciprocating saw

It doesn't line up around the two holes inside the wheel well. New holes have to be drilled into the new bumper.
And the bolt holes on the end tabs of the bumper had to be drilled and trimmed.
The center bracket from the car to the grille doesn't lineup. I will have to make a bracket later.
The foglight's sockets don't match. eBay adapter needed
None of the lower bolts will fit in the 3is bumper.
Only two screws at the top and two plastic screws hold the bumper to the car.
Fitment around the headlights is good.
The four holds in the middle of the grille will blend in with the rest of the grille.

It doesn’t look bad. But you definitely need the lip to hide the under body there. But it looks like it lines up where its most important.

Be careful while buying this bumper. There are 2 types of it , I have not the best model which is the first models of this bumper. Basically it looks good, but fits not excellent. The lockers, grill and cover under engine needs to be fixed additionally.

Thumbs down

Maybe, Yes it has to go too.? I didn't cut the foam after cutting the aluminum bumper. I was not willing to have another set back of my installation, therefore it sits on the sideline until........ to be continued

Default Weather stripping

FYI
I reused the weather stripping from the 2is grille. Slowly removed it clip by clip. Then I had to reposition a few to line up with the 3is bumper. Looks just fine and $45-$50 bucks saved.

@diggdyone...I wonder if 3IS aluminum and foam would work. Coworker clipped my bumper and ripped it, broke the foam and fog while parked. This is why I got this bumper. I was considering getting 3IS one since it appears slimmer than the 2IS foam. I've been studying the 3IS reinforcement and foam, and it appears slimming (aluminum) than 2IS.

I see there is some clearance behind bumper for foam, if the aluminum was slimmer.

Also...looks like you have MotoVIPz headlights?

Its still a good bumper vs. trying to make one. The parts, even aftermarket plus the labor to make one will be way more than this. The minor mods needed to get it to work as seen by @diggdyone is nothing compared to the cutting and pasting to make one.

Most of the mods to make this work will be minor, if you're a modder that's done this before. Beats the kind of stuff we used to to Honda's and fiberglass back in the day.

So after going back and forth with Ikon Motorsports...they test fitted all the 3IS F-sport lips they sell and none of them fit this bumper. They claimed the curves and bends don't match and that the 3IS lips are too wide for this bumper. So I ended up asking for $100 partial refund in lieu of the lip. Since I brought this issue up, they have updated all their photos to reflect the no lip.

Lesson learned, none of the 2014+ F-sport lips will fit, better they figured it out than us buying the lip and trying to get it on. I still think that a 3IS F-sport lip can fit if you tried hard enough and did some modding.

Well kudos to them for test fitting the lips before sending them and also fixing their ads to remove the front lip. Also , I hope that you get your discount. Or a spoiler , roof spoiler , or anything else in that price range.
