Default is250 Muffler Delete Help

Hi everyone!

After watching dozens of videos on YouTube, I have decided to chop off my mufflers. I would really appreciate some help in deciding what size pipe to use.

I am aiming for a deeper, throatier exhaust note. Based on what I have seen and read, a larger pipe would accomplish this. So, what do you recommend: 2.5” or 3” pipes after the delete? And if I’m wrong, please say so

Also, will the larger pipe effect low-end torque more than if I stayed closer to the stock size?

Lastly, although this may be a silly question, if the pipe size is 3” do I find exhaust tips with a 3” inlet as well?

Thank you!

The muffler is at the furthest part of the exhaust so Tubing size will have no effect on torque nor do I think it will effect the sound.
