Need help identifying part and what it's purpose is.
This is for a 2006 IS250 rwd. I was changing the spark plugs and coils and pulled the wires out of one of the plugs. I was able to get them back in but I'm not sure if i have the wires inserted correctly. I'm pretty sure the green wire is where its supposed to be, but I'm not sure about the black and white wires. I have taken two pics. One from a distance pointing to the area of the plug and a close up of the plug that shows the wiring configuration. Does anyone know what this part is and what purpose it serves. Also, what is the correct wiring position? The "Check Engine VSC" light came on and I replaced the fuel cap at first. That didn't help. Coil #3 started misfiring so I decided to change the plugs and coils. I've double checked to make sure I have everything plugged back in and yet the "VSC light is still on. I'm wondering if that plug has anything to do with the "VSC" light being on. Hopefully someone here might have some insight to the part in question.
Thanks in Advance for any input.

Same boat, no help also a 350. It looks like a position sensor and because its higher up I'll speculate Bank 2 intake camshaft.
That said it likely has a match on bank 1 whereby two of the colors and positions match. Meaning one is ground, one is +12v power, and one is the output from the sensor it will be in the same position as B2 but a different color.
All speculation but worth a peak at the other side.
