guys - 2006 IS250 owner here. My rims have given issues for two years now and gone to a local tire shop to get them cleaned up ($45 per tire) but the issue has started again and I'm getting slow leak from the tires. Costco said they can't do anything and I should get new rims. Looks like aftermarket rims are about $400 for a set of 4 and new OEM would run be $1000. Has anybody experience with these and are aftermarket good enough? I do plan to keep the car another 5 years since it's 170k miles now and hoping it can go over 200k. If you think that's too ambitious, would like to hear your opinion. Car has been good so far except for a water pump replacement I had to do 3 months ago that cost $550

What aftermarket rims are you talking about? A lot of people run aftermarket rims (including myself) with no problems, assuming you are stock height and you buy the right specs.

Stock height means you have not lowered your car. Yes, you can use aftermarket wheels. Just make sure the wheels can use your TPMS sensors and they are the right lug pattern and offset.
