Default Traction Control Issue

Today I experienced a weird issue with my 350. After being stop at a red light I accelerated and the traction control light began to blink along with an increase in RPMs on the tachometer, almost as if it was in Sport mode (but it wasn't). Happened to me twice. It had rained early and my tires are relatively new (only 3 months old with barely any wear) any idea what the problem could be? I expect the traction light to blink every now and then but can't understand the dramatic increase in RPMs

not sure. could the increase in rpm be that the 350 is dropping a gear? was thinking maybe a speed sensor is acting up so your vehicle is picking up a wrong speed for one of the wheels so its trying to compensate for that...idk just throwing a dart at the board, no clue

Sounds to me like the pavement was slick from the earlier rain, and you accelerated hard enough to spin the tires.
