Default Warning: DDM Tuning Bulbs

I just wanted to put this out there for everyone as a precaution. I've used DDM Tuning's retrofit HID kits on several previous vehicles without any issues and I've always used the 35watt kits. My IS is the first car I've had with factory HIDs. I had put in some D4S 5k bulbs from DDM in and they were fine for quite a while, then I started having issues with one of the ballasts flickering. I figured the ballast needed to be replaced just due to age and use. Well when I took the old one out I discovered the bulbs had burned out the sockets. From what I've found online this is apparently common when using their bulbs with OEM ballasts.

Just wanted to prevent this from happening to anyone else and saving them some money in the long run.

Jesus christ...how do you even feel after that? Have you contacted them? I'd be furious. You pay good money for something and this happens. Please update and thanks for letting us know!
