Anybody running trans/oil cooler on n/a or nonturbo engine?
Is anybody running any aftermarket oil/trans cooler on nonturbo or natural engine?
Does it help at all when tracking?
is it beneficial to install an aftermarket one or will it just restrict oil flow and lose oil pressure?

I've not read about any. But it honestly wouldn't be that difficult. There are two factory oiling ports that are capped off with large Hex key bolts right next to the front oil filter housing. One would only need to find out what fitting thread type and pitch would needed and install from there.
These are the holes/ports I'm talking about :

do you know if there is any performance gain?
ive read on other forums where if you did not have any boost, youll lose oil pressure, which is understandable since youre filtering oil into more space where it is not needed. and to continue onto this, if i run 4qts of oil now, will putting 5 or 6qts minimize the oil pressure lost (if it does lose pressure)?

uhhhh. What are YOU talking about? I don't understand.
Of course my car doesn't have an oil cooler, that's why I'm thinking about adding one.

he was snarkily pointing out that "oil/trans cooler" doesn't quite make sense (particularly the "oil/trans" bit) and was giving you reason to clarify in future posts so as to have your threads understandable by all.

RR-Racing has an oil cooler kit available for the IS-F. It might also be compatible with the IS350 if you want to give it a shot.

The idea in my head is...
put an oil temperature guage and only have the cooler run when above certain temps. Because cold oil: no good.
Thoughts?
I actually want oil and trans cooler and I mean to ask if anybody has either one installed or both.
