Not sure where to post this. Does anyone have any info on how to replace the stock bulbs with led auxbeam bulbs? I just bought this 06 is250 and am trying to improve it. Only video I could find of headlight bulbs being replaced were HIDs. Thanks in advance.

What brand LED bulb did you get and from where I want to replace the HID bulbs too. Did you use a decoder for anti-flicker?

I'm currently on my third 2IS as well as a CT200h, I've always replaced the halogen bulbs with LEDs. I've never bought a specific brand, but steer clear from LED with the multiple SMDs (not bright enough for driving visibility) and fans (break causing light failure). To replace halogen it is plug and play. I know there a few new styles that have multiple brightnesses, this might (no idea) work to not need a resistor on the DRL/high beam - the issue is the DRL bulb on the older style headlamp is the high beam at 30% so it strobes due to lack of power or is at full high beam brightness. On my 2006, I just always left the lights on and it solved that issue.
All that said, if you have HID, keep them. They have much better light output, without question.
