Default DRL/Highbeam Upgrade Question

So I recently did an LED upgrade on my all my lights except my DLR/Highbeams, to my understanding from looking at threads most upgrades would either require some of decoder or will lose highbeam capability. I'd like to match my clear white LED's because the yellow DLR halogens are unappealing. I'd like to know if anyone has any recommendations that I could go with to avoid losing highbeams and avoid using a decorder.

Thanks for the time.

I'm not sure what year your car is, but these are some halogen bulbs that will provide a whiter light with a direct swap - usually with some loss of light output for the colour

I have the Nokya bulbs currently that are coated blue to give a whiter look, which looks pretty cool inside the housing. They are definitely not the advertised 7000K - more like a stock oem 4300k I would say. Other then that the light output is decent enough for me as I rarely require the use of a highbeam.

These are cheap alternatives to LED bulbs and decoders that are a direct swap.

I had bought an LED swap kit with decoders for this same reason. I did not install this though because the decoder boxes were too big and could not use the rear access door to seal the headlight. I did not want to leave the headlight open because it will allow dirt and humidity to enter the headlight. I have thought about removing the plastic boxes from the decoders and see if I can fit the printed circuit board inside the headlight but have not tried this yet.

What part are you in CA? If you are in OC, i could disable the DRL for you. I hate it as well but need high beam at some point
