if 10mm slip on spacer i doubt you will get 4-5 turns. I suggest you find a customer spacer vendor and ask them to make a customer 10mm slip on WITH lip. The spacer can sit on the oem hup as much as it wants but then you have the spacer's full lip support the wheel. That's what i did with my 5mm got a customer lipped spacer.

How is the ride quality? I want to lower my 2007 and still keep the stock wheels/tires, but don't want too stiff of a ride quality. My 5-year-old daughter is with me most of the time so that's my reason for not wanting a much stiffer than stock. Thanks

There is a moderator on this forum that got his custom made I'm sure there is a shop that does wheel machining around your state.
Most vibration s are due to insufficient lip mount on the wheel. With 5mm and alot of wheels have bevel on mounting point what's left of OEM lip sticking out after you put in 5mm is worthless. You'll need full lip. A full size lip does not mean you are going to use all of the lip depending on your wheel bevel size. With the bevels, you could be using half of the lip which is better than none.
You have to also make sure you are using the correct nuts that suits the wheels some aftermarket wheels are acorn and our nuts with washer don't suit.
No vibrations for mine and I've gone to 60/mph.

Remember that the lip on the spacer has a inner and outer diameter. Our hub bore size is 60.1mm, if your aftermarket wheel has the same bore size of 60.1mm (same as OEM) then you cannot use a lip spacer. Most aftermarket wheels should be bigger than 60.1mm. Exact measurements are needed.
Eg My wheel have 66.1mm bore size, so I got 60.1mm to 66.1mm lip spacer. Also see the lug holes where the OEM studs goes through? make sure you measure the diameter of the studs and tell them not to make too big holes.
