In order to make decent power after force induction the foundation needs to make decent power to begin with. The 250 simply isn't a good foundation. I'm not surprised with the results. However, you can now say you have a SC car

Arma s sc kit for our car produces 312 hp in the same boost I m running.Just different charger.I really believe that my car can gain more power. The previous file Mathew send was faster than this last one.I just told him that I saw 12.4 at my AFR gauge and he decided to lower it more.If you see jrule2 says that his 250 is faster than a 350 is so this car has potentials in boost. The LMS kit was designed for the 350 so I don't think the c2 procharger is small for 250.If only I was sure that I could raise the boost I could easily rich the 300hp .

I m waiting for the results although I want buy an other sc kit.I could use help with mine though. You have a lot of knowledge in the sc kits for all Lexus models. You can share how much boost this engine can handle on stock internals.I have swapped 3GR engine in mine with the LMS kit.I don't have the PPE headers and a full exchast so that I can rise boost more.I wish you can help me!

Here are our latest results. We will have the SC kit up on our website this weekend. Introductory price is just $5200!

Kit makes up to 360whp so far on e40 blend... of course we will continue to push the and develop this kit, but a 200hp gain isn't too shabby!

Do a little search on Valve Body Upgrades. The A760E/H trans can handle the torque if you fix the valve body first.
They put this trans in a bunch of yoda trucks.

Talk about a sleeper! Bam! 250 devil in the works!

IS250 has the 960 tranny, same as the auto BRZ... and it’s been tested in many turbo BRZ builds, haven’t heard of any issues, and valvebody is easy to modify.

Applies to 2006/2007 only and IIRC the 07 AWD gets the A760H. And yes, that is why I mentioned it. The valve body is a bolt in update. An inexpensive fix if you have boost!

i believe all IS250 RWD get A960E. But both 960 and 760 are easy to mod valvebody.

We actually found with the 3IS that the AWD trannies have greater capacity than RWD.

The truth is that the numbers RRracing achieved are great but the other truth is that the car is running 13-15psi of boost compared to my 6psi I'm running now after the swap! The thing that I don't like about the kit is the use of the 7th injector.I understand that the stock ECU don't have enough fuel for this power but perhaps larger injectors and a tune would be more ideal.I know that PPE headers and a full exhaust will help me raise boost a litle and I ll see better numbers.PPE headers didn't give so much gains as RRracing stated but deleting my primary cats made this hoible noise so I think it s the only way to go.PPE headers and a full exhaust will cost more than the 3GR I bought from Japan.A lot of money for let's say 30hp more.

there are several problems with things you just stated.

(1) you are comparing 2 different dynos. We use a Dynojet. You used a MAHA dyno. Your measured wheel power is only 206whp! The 269hp in the dyno you posted is a calculated engine HP, not wheel HP like in our dyno plots. On our dyno your car would make about 120-150hp **LESS** than our SC.

(2) there is nothing wrong with using seventh injector for supplemental fueling.

(3) we never claimed headers make power with the SC. All our results are with stock manifolds.

Thumbs up

This is the dyno graph from the dynojet dyno after the 3GR swap.As you can see the results are 256hp to the wheels.Thats 100hp less than yours but with 9psi less boost. As I found out dyno results to dyno results have huge diferences. In the Maha dyno the car made 280hp to the engine and at the dynojet it made 256 to the wheels. Both dynos after the 3GR swap and after the tune. The 3GR I bought was from a Toyota Mark X.When I decided to make this swap I had in my mind that the supercharged MarkX made 320hp.I assumed that since the 4GR made 270hp (to the engine) I will gain 50hp more from the 3GR(that's the power diference between the two engines)And that will make my car to 320hp(engine power).I never liked noise in the car and that's the reason I didn't want an exhaust from the beginning. In the dynojet the Greek tuner from the dyno advised me to change the exhaust if I wanted to raise boost a litle which is safe for this engine according to him.I ve contacted to Mr Paul from PPE and he honestly told me that headers didn't gave so much gains to our sc cars BUT advised me to delete my primary cats or buy 350s headers from PPE .I deleted my cats but there was a metallic sound that's the reason I removed them.
I respect what you have done with the Lexus platform and i m following your work but I wouldn't spend more money in another SC kit.I ve spend a lot of money on my built and I just wanted some help in order to achieve what I want. Some people really helped me even if they new that I wouldn't buy their products.I respect that.LMS made this kit for the 350 many years ago when a tune was not available for our cars.Believe me it's working great but as everyone I wanted more.Congrtats for the kit and the dyno numbers but I don't want to push my engine that much and that's the reason I made this swap.I understand that this engine has lower compration ratio than the 4GR so I have to raise boost in order to gain the power I was suppose to.If I didn't have to change the exhaust I would have changed a pulley and i ll be done buy now but spending another 2500euros for an exhast(and headers) is what s holding me back.By the way in your last dyno you said you are using PPE headers.
Did you see any diference in power than stock?
You said on stock manifolds but you also said you removed the cats and use high flow cats.
Are you using 2GR PPE headers or 4GR ?
Thank you for the help anyway guys.Keep up
