Hello, I am a relatively new owner of a 2006 IS250 AWD. The car has been very sturdy so far, except for a strange noise that has been coming from the engine bay. I never noticed it until taking a road trip in it, although I am not sure if the trip was the cause or if it was caused by the last shop that did maintenance. The noise became noticeable after getting the oil changed, but I just had my car serviced at Lexus and they mentioned that the oil looked good and did not mention the noise. I created a video of it while in my car to see if anyone else had some ideas about it. The rattling occurs during idling and tends to disappear when accelerating. The noise goes away completely when the transmission is placed in neutral. Thanks for any assistance!

Check your transmission mounts. Also check and heat shields for rattle.
