Default Can 255/45R18 size tires fit my rear staggered 18's?

Hey guys, I am currently running 255/40R18 tires, but want to size up to 45R18. Will they fit the car? I don't have much experience with tires, so I am not sure if these are too tall for the wheel area. I have stock sports package suspension. 2006 IS350

Would appreciate the responses. Thanks!

thanks for the response man. I think I will leave it at 40. On top of what you said, I saw a size comparison too. And it seems to be a fairly large difference.

Is there a particular reason you want thicker sidewalls on your stocks?

If you want more comfort ride by increase the thickness of tires you can go with this setup, the Front 225/45/17 and the rear 255/45/17 , there is no other option, this setup is match OEM setup 99%
