Got my new door panels installed today! Makes the interior look/smell like a new car again! I went ahead and had them do the airbag recall at the same time so I could get a free loaner vehicle...got an RX350 with the temp tag still on it! Sadly, two things happened that left me unsettled, First, the techs left a bunch of greasy hand prints all over the headliner. I figured I'd be better left to clean it myself than to ask them to do it...so I left without asking. Second, they did the fuel sensor gasket recall that I had not even requested NOR was it mentioned that they would do it before, during, or after my visit at the dealership. Boo! Been fine for almost 12yrs; leave it be!

On a positive note, the car got a bath, a vacuuming, and wait for it...new OEM Lexus floormats in the cabin. WHAT? LOL!

Dropped mine off on Tuesday morning for my dash h replacement. Took an entire day. They gave me a loaner though: ES350. Pretty annoyed to find sweat smudges all over the inside of my windshield and my center console was dirtier. I think they messed up my radio power/volume ****. It sits further in than the tune ****. Can anyone verify that they are suppose to be the same?

Had mine investigated about a month ago. Got a call back saying dash, and all 4 door panels are in. Had it done in about a day. They were fairly busy as it was over the weekend and a whole bunch of airbag recall were already lined up ahead of me. Didn't mind the 3 day wait as I was in a '17 NX200t. Got the car back today and it feels like a new inside. Dealer did a great job with the install. Big shout out to Lexus of Concord for coming through and getting the parts in quick.

I have not received a notice about this recall. My car is a 2007 Lexus IS 350 out of warranty, I'm the original owner. Am I eligible for this recall? My dash is cracking up around the air vents.

You should be. Just call Lexus corporate. 1-800-255-3987. Maybe you didn't get the recall letter because you didn't update your address with Lexus. I think I waited 9 months. I got the call 2 days ago for the dash recall. Surprising to me because I was # 450 in place at my dealer! I was told the door panels will be much longer...

I got very bad fitment after they putting on new dash. Brought it back to dealership and they do corrected it by cutting off the guide pin for navigation and enlarge the mounting while on the brackets to raised up my unit to minimal the gap between the air vent and the dash. Not mention about the big gap between the ODO trim and the dash. The GM told me that nothing they could do to correct it and told me that they didn't cut off or enlarged anything on my car (too bad they didn't know I'm Navigation specialist and could take out the unit within 3 mins).
they main tech was there while I take out the unit to proved that they did cut off guide pin and enlarged the mounting whole. After they looked at it, they told me that is the only way to fixed the gap. What is a big lie from dealership. On top of that, they event told me that I could do better fitment due to my handy skill that they believed so everything is on my own.
A noted for any of you, if you picking up your car, you better check for the gap at airvent, ODO trim, glove compartment. I will take picture of all the gap that I mention so you have an idea what I'm talking about.
here is picture of my guide pin had been cut off

The general manager stated that they never ever cut off anything on customer car but it's not true and I was able to proved it (in front of main tech and service advisor)

That sucks. The only way to rectify it is to replace that guide thing, which I doubt they'll do. I asked to speak to a manager when they broke my engine trim installing the wrong battery. He refused to see me. Keep us updated.

Come Sept or Oct I'll be going on 2yrs here in Orlando. When put on the list they told me 1 1/2 yr wait. Wasn't to worried about the wait as my dash (at the time) was not bad but now it sure could use some replacing but still not as bad as I've seen others. Called and I'm 13th on the list which was maybe about 2months ago.

I came in April 24 2017 and got it done on June 26 2017, so about 2 months. At the same time, they also did the front passenger airbag inflator also. My 2008 IS 350 is like new with the dash just done and the two front door panels in December 2016. At the moment they refused to replace the rear door panels as they say there's nothing wrong with it as it's still look like new.
