Default LED DRL Strip IS350 2011 - Quick Question

Hi Guys,

I have the IS350 with the LED DRL strip at the bottom of the headlight,

Random quick question: if one of the little LED's were to blow, can they be replaced? or can it even be accessed somehow for maintenance? etc..

In theory they could be replaced, but not easily and they are not intended to be serviced. You would need to heat up the light and separate the housing and lens to be able to access the LED's, and then it would still be a bit of disassembly to get to them. You would then need to source a replacement, as they are not sold separately from Lexus.

The thing is, to try and replace one dot of the LED probably cost more than buying a new headlight housing replacement. Also if you were gonna try to get it fix, you would have to find the people and place who know how to do that.

Thanks Jeff - exactly the info I was after, I wasn't sure if they were sealed in the unit or replaceable.
