All you have to do is get an aftermarket HID Kit.

they show you how to do it

WoW...Very informative video. Thanks so much for that... Do you have these headlights? I am Trying to decide where to buy them from...Which ones to go with Spyder, VIP Motorz or the other brands that are out there.

No problem. Yes i have them, i absolutely love them. For the price, you can't beat it. A 1 year warranty as well. The only meh part is aligning, the sights, but just do it when your bumper is off and youre good. Apparently spyder amd vip are now one in the same, however i went with VIP due to the customer support

No its not stock, as we wouldve been able to use our stock bulbs in that case

99% sure its the H7 for low and h1 for highl

Good luck in the hunt. I know a few of us have gone the Morimoto route.

So when i order these aftermarket lights just order an H7 HID kit and I'm golden, or is there any other bulb, ballast, item needed for installation??? Going to be ordering this week as i thought i fixed my problem on my headlights but that was a NO GO. So I'm just giving up and getting aftermarket headlights and HID Kit.

That's all i did. Only pain is where figuring out where you want to mount your ballast. Some use the bottom of the headlight cover, I used the back of my crash beam as space gets tight back there. Good luck

Sorry guys! I haven't been on the forum lately due to the holidays.

I washed my car a few times and also been raining here in California for quite some time. I haven't had any issue with moisture entering into the headlights.

When I first installed my headlights, I've noticed my HID H11 bulb did not fit. Did some research and found out I would need H7. So to give you a definite answer to the Spyder headlights, (for HID) you'll need H7.

Here's a video where a guy retrofit his oem headlights to an aftermarket one.

Hope this helps.

FML! Got a XENTEC HID KIT just to find out it doesn't have the weather seal......
Ordering a different brand and making sure it comes with the seal but its the weekend....

If anyone else is interested in these headlights and plan to get an HID KIT,
make sure it comes with the weather seal otherwise you'll risk getting condensation/water in em or have to return them.

Hey guys,

Finally installed these lights with an H7 HID Kit but i've got a major issue with them.
The lowbeams cast a shadow that you can visibly see and its annoying. The shadow it casts is sort of an M.

Anyone else experience this issue and found a solution?

Im thinking it might be because of the base of the H7 bulb doesn't fit properly. Pics are below....

Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Its my only way of transportation, besides my Ninja......
