Was the fluid ever changed? Eventually I will have to find a dealer who does this service

my 2011 is350 has 63k miles and is having transmission issues like what's been stated above. make sure you test drive a few before making the decision. the first thing i noticed was around 55k miles, and there was a big clunk when it automatically downshifted into 1st and 2nd. now it's doing it with every shift, up and down. not sure how much longer it'll hold up. good luck, and be smart.

yeah idk. i drive it hard, but not THAT hard. i've driven higher mileage ones that didn't have a single issue, which kinda made me jealous lol. about to start parting it out so i can revert it back to stock and sell it.

I have 195k on my is350. Changed the fluid a few times and the transmission still feels great.

If the key to this is just changing out the fluid every now and then I'll probably be doing this as soon as I can.

I am looking tomorrow at a 07 IS350. The one thing that scares me is that he said that the transmission is a sealed unit and he hasn't done the fluid change. What fluid would it take and I am guessing it has a filter. There isn't any harm changing fluid and lifetime usually means 100k.

I would be very happy if my IS350 would get to this many miles without a problem

Default Going through the same thing

[QUOTE=JMcHugh;9659991]I was looking at purchasing a used 2006 is350 and I'm finding a lot of cars with 150,000+ miles for pretty cheap, is that too many for a car this old, this would be my first Lexus. Anything to look out for? Thanks for any input.

have this same question, I’m looking at a 2011 is250 for 15k with 86 thousand miles. And a 2014 is250 with 102 thousand miles for 20k. Both look to be serviced regularly and maintained well. Anybody have any guidance?
