My 2006 IS350 F-Sport
Just wanted to share some pics and info on my car. It is a one-of-a-kind car because of the factory Sport package with additional luxury & premium options and special custom touches. It was a San Diego California car that I purchased and had shipped to Minnesota. It is Glacier Frost Mica exterior with Platinum grey interior. Awesome and rare color combo in my opinion! It has the rare factory F-Sport Package which includes the ground effects (aka GFX) front lip, side skirts, rear window lip, spoiler). It also has IS-F carbon fiber interior trim, IS-F steering wheel, drilled aluminum pedals. Navigation, Bluetooth, heated/cooled perforated seats, premium Mark Levinson Audio, memory seats, power tilt/telescope steering wheel, back-up camera, 18" factory wheels, HID auto-leveling headlamps, moonroof, F-sport front and rear swaybars, sport-tuned suspension, F-Sport Intake, rear power sunshade, rain-sensing wipers, illuminated aluminum door sills, traction control off button (not even optional until 2007 so previous owner must have installed this unless my car was a late 2006 build). It also has 3M clear bra on bumpers, headlights, and rocker panels. I also recently painted my brake calipers red and installed white Lexus decals on front calipers. Ditched the halogen parking lights to LED's to compliement the HID. I plan to change out the fog lights to LED. Also ditched the halogen dome light in favor of LED to match the other LED map lights inside the cabin. I plan to have the windows tinted soon.
Thanks for looking.

Nice! Never had a one-of-a-kind car! I'd actually be nervous to drive one through LA traffic LOL I think the switch to LED is a good decision - so much better than halogen IMHO Beautiful car!

Nice to see that you have the 2007 VSC set-up so you can fully disable stability control without having to do the pedal dance. I don't believe that even late-2006 models had the 07 VSC module so it was probably an upgrade from the previous owner.
Welcome to the IS350 family! These are brilliant cars and worthy of the moniker Intelligent Sport.

F-Sport models started being produced in 2010 for countries outside of the USA and for 2011 in the USA. That said, what you have is a tastefully modified Sport Package car, which had some stuff the newer F-Sport models didn't have anyway (memory seats, power column, etc.).
GFX body parts were either port- or dealer-installed, they were added after the car left the factory. Same goes for the rear spoiler (which wasn't part of the GFX kit).
IS F interior looks good, I wonder how much the previous owner paid for some of those pieces, haha. Also the pedals aren't quite drilled, per se. The rubber backing just sticks through the aluminum. I believe the aluminum portion is stamped. The illuminated door sills would have been swapped out by the previous owner as well, as Sport Package cars had non-illuminated aluminum door sills.
Finding a 2IS with Mark Levinson can be tough sometimes, so that's a nice find. Plus with the navigation option it can play DVD's.
These were all a part of the Sport Package and Luxury Package, the 2006-2010 USA Sport Package included a lot of niceties for sure. The heated/cooled seats and HID's were available separately, but the rest was only available in one of those two packages.
This was included on all models with navigation.
Most IS350's have the 18" wheels, in fact a lot of IS250's do too, but it is nicer than the older style 17's for sure. Outside of the USA the IS250 had 16's. Those were hideous.
The moonroof was actually standard equipment in the USA, you had to get an X-Package to delete the sunroof (also included the pedals, door sills and suspension from the Sport Package). I actually ordered my car without sunroof.
The sway bars may be one of the best mods the previous owner installed. Fantastic stuff. The intake is apparently quite good as well, but I've never run it myself.
Do you still have the factory Sport shocks/springs, or did the previous owner order the F-Sport stuff? The F-Sport accessory stuff is lower and progressive with Bilstein shocks. The factory stuff is Tokico. I actually kind of prefer the factory stuff that I have but wouldn't mind it being a bit stiffer.
All 2006 IS350's actually have that button, it's what the button does that changed between 2006 and 2007. On 2006's, it can only turn traction control off (it comes back on once you hit 30mph), while on 2007's if you hold it for 3s you can turn off VSC and TRAC and it stays off until restarting the car or pushing the button again.
Looks like a fantastic car, and in fact with all of the modifications the previous owner made to the car it has almost everything that was ever offered on a 2IS in the USA.
Enjoy it!
