IS250 carbon buildup - What works? What doesn't?
Well, I'm just about due for my next 5k oil change. I'll get them to save me some and get the UOA done. Not sure how to interpret them, but hopefully someone here can help. The car has less than 20k on it and I doubt it has much if any carbon build up now. That is why I'm trying to find the best way to slow it.
Sure, the car is number #2 expense after your home. Start young, keep the deposits out and engine burning clean, you will have no issues. Your future owners will also thank you and you will save them from having to do a walnut blast in the future.
The best way to clean the carbon build up is to perform a top engine clean. If you are dedicated and mechanically inclined, disassemble the intake surge tank plenum and components on the top of engine and use GM Carbon Cleaner. I believe you can get these GM cleaner solution from Ford or GM dealerships in the parts department, made by AC Delco. Apply it in to the spark plug holes to clean the valves.
When i was working with Honda, we'd have to remove the aluminum intake plenums and manually scrape out the carbon building. in some cases we'd drill holes, clean the carbon, and insert plugs with hondabond in the holes drilled.

Good morning @danielTRLK
Is it really? If we fill up a Lexus IS250 2014 with a gasoline with 27% of ethanol, these alcohol can clean any carbon build up that a poor gasoline could makes?
Thanks in advance!
