Default Oil leak help (pics)

Guys,

I was installing my F-sport front sway bar, I had to remove the engine cover under the car and noticed this. Anyone else had this problem ? It looks like its coming from that banjo style bolt. Passenger side, 06' IS350

No clue, I just hand tightened it until I felt it was enough. I'm sure the parts guy can help you out if you want the torque specs.

Here's what I found, I hope this will help other members in the future if this problem arises. I just went to the local Toyota dealer with this diagram, I went ahead and got both, the upper and lower washers. Was about $10 in parts.

HankMoody are those oil supply lines under any pressure? I highly doubt itdue to the banjo style

Probably minimal while during operation, and none when turned off. Why, yours leaking too?

More than likely just oil pressure.

Oh and just an update.

I recently changed my oil and have been keeping my eye on that repair, so far it's dry as a bone.. Easy fix.

Yes mine had alot of oil gunked up on it. Also the valve cover gasket was leaking. gonna replace both of those and monitor it to make sure it's nothing more than that...my biggest nightmare is the timing leak 121k on the dash gulp.

With the upper plastics removed, one should be able (with the right tools) to be able to work this repair from the top.

For your sake I hope that's the issue, because it is QUITE an expense and labor intensive to fix the timing cover leak.
