Default Limited Slip Differental more observations.

I just put about 600 miles on this LSD from OS Giken and changed the oil to the 75/140 weight. All the noise is gone save for when I make a super tight super slow turn. Then I get a little bit of chatter but I can live with that.
On the way home transitioning on a 300 degree right hand freeway turn. Approached at 70 braked down shifted to 3rd inside lane of two. Kept it about 5O mph through the turn. Could feel the rear end slightly slip and lock but with the throttle down and in the right rpms it just locked in the turn and sort of self corrected. Felt very positive and under control. The balance of the car stayed correct. It was just great. I remember the E LSD and I could not do this with confidence with that set up. Over all really pleased.

Just have to remember to set track of and vsc off or it doesn't work right.

I wonder if the 80/250 weight differential fluid from OS Giken would alleviate the chatter you're getting when making tight u-turns (the only time I would get chatter was when I was using the break-in fluid during the first 500 miles).

Yes, keep VSC off to allow the differential to progressively lock properly.
