Hello,

in my IS 250 from 2009 I've observed an issue and it appears when closing air circulation with a button.

cabin filter mechanism blocks and the weird rattling sound apprears. It only helps to open the glove box and plastic cover from the filter and forcely lift the locked mechanism.

Anyone had similar problem?

Thanks but it sounds like a lot of unscrewing upon me...

the weird thing is that I manually lift it, it works for a week or more. The problem IS that car automatically closes the circulation when is more than 85F outside...

this is the only solution for that? I'll have to let someone do it for me instead...mabe the guy who changed it

 

If the guy who changed it is the guy that broke it, he ought to be the guy paying to fix his mistake.
