Yesterday I was installing BC coilovers on my 07 awd is250. I noticed the driver side axle had a rip in the boot with grease spewing out. My question is if anyone on here has ever had a remanned axle shaft put in? I ordered one and is on its way now just wondering if anyone wants to chime in if this was a good decision. Lexus dealer has the axles for an arm and leg. JS

Reman components are normally made up of the OEM core parts and the reman company reconditions the item to be new again. So the units usually have an inherent quality to them, as long as the reman company didn't have to replace the joints themselves. New boots, grease, bands, paint anyone can do without affecting the overall quality of the part.

I got mine rebuilt, passenger side and its been ok (knock on wood), I also had coilovers then and used to ride pretty low. Basically my shop took it out and sent it to he guys who rebuilt it and it came back with a 1yr warranty. Its been about 3yrs now.
Go for it if its oem pieces
