Thinking about buying one... However do you guys think 145k miles is to much? For 11k.... Possibly able to rework them down. Comes wit extra set of rims for the winter with blizzaks. All the tools with spare. Or there's another one with 101k without anything extra for 9k.

What year? Have you done your research regarding the carbon build up issues that are common with the 250?

2006 is250. One is red with black rims and the set of extra rims and tires the other is black. I have not done research on the carbon build up, nor did I know of that. I'll read up on that thank you!

I got my IS250 AWD 07 for 12k with 60k miles with summers and winters. What year is it? As everyone else will probably say - stay away from IS250s because of carbon build up.

It's fair price for a Lexus IS . U can search a clean title manual for that price

late 2010 models and on should have minimal issues with carbon build up due to an engine revision/correction by lexus/toyota.

Do not buy IS250 they have carbone build up engine issue. Get IS350 instead or 2011 for RWD.

His is manual and its rare, not every car has the exactly same price, range from 8-11k $ here in Canada, it can be at max and min price range, everyone says their car is excellent when they sell. Also depend on what States Province you live in. Fair price is not too high not too low you can lowball right ?

I have 120k on my IS250 right now and I've loved every mile. Even if yours is older, they would do the TSB for the revised internals. If you can spend an extra few K for an IS350 I'd do it though...

Just make sure all the recalls are done and you're good!

Part of the price depends on whether he is buying from a private party or a dealer and the condition of the car. In the op's state of Illinois, I would say the condition would be "good". At 145K miles, it is considered to be in the high mileage category, but not by a whole lot.

From a dealer, the price range is $8800 to $11000 with $9900 being about mid point.
From a private party, the price range is $7300 to $8100

I used Kelly Blue Book for the prices.
