I have an 06 with 155k miles so of course I would expect the interior to start rattling some, but it's really getting worse and worse every day... it's driving me insane. especially the passenger seat squeaks (and all seats in general). What can be done about this? I'm assuming wd40ing something might help but I just dont know what to do with the seats, the railing on the bottom? Never used wd40 before. Any help would be appreciated.

There is a recall on the squeeky seats, something to do with the washers ... I can't ...recall.... correctly.... But lexus is aware of the squeeky seats and has a solution.


For other vibrations and squeaks from the dash, users had success with spraying graphite on the clips.

 

I thought the squeaky seats were caused by those "tabs" on the sliders to help align the seats into the car's floor board initially? I cut mine off, but at the same time I installed a Sparco seat; so I do not know if this helped with my minor seat noise.

 

i can't stand the squeaky noise coming out of the b-pillar at around 70mph is there a fix for that?

 

I went through this on my gs300, I bought felt sheets for like $.97 from a craft store and put them everywhere plastic met plastic or there was friction between materials and the car is silent. As for the seats, maybe find any bolts you can and tighten them down?

 

Can you go in to detail about this? Does the seats squeak when you are adjusting them on the track rail? Or when you plop down on them? Or when you are driving and lets say you go over a bump causing you to bounce on you seat a little bit.

Same with the rattles, is it rattling only in higher MPH or throughout, is it coming from a specific part of the car?
