I need help guys was driving now, just left my house was making a left turn on intersection, hit the gas and nothing, no power, car was still on it reved up but didn't go, I hit the gas harder it eventually shuddered and jerked and I got off the intersection. Turned off the car and back on and when I hit the gas the car doesn't Rev normally and feels like it's gonna die and has no power. 07 is350 please help

Sound like you got transmission problem. My customer car have simular problem and turn out it's transmission failure.

 

Yikes, highly doubt it's Trans man, I don't have time now to mess around but a buddy suggested cleaning maf sensor as I just got a new k&n filter and he said they are known for throwing oil to the maf. Really doubt it's tranny but u never know

 

If it was tranny it wouldn't make the engine itself feel like it's not getting fuel or air, it would jst be jerky. Highly doubt it's tranny, I'm thinking most likely oily maf, maybe fuel pump or alternator

 

Revert back to stock and see what changes occur.

 

Will clean Maf sensor after work and see what happens, I'll keep u guys posted. Any other suggestions?

 

Update: took out maf sensor it was clean as a whistle, I figured I'll clean it anyways, let it dry put it back in and nothing, same issue. Guess I'm towing it to local shop tomorrow and see what happens! Fml

 

Have you had the recall regarding the Fuel Pressure gasket?

This sounds exactly like what happened to my friends G37. He was gassing but the car wouldnt go. It turned out his alternator died. But when he replaced it it drove fine.

 

Update, was a dead maf sensor and apparently the wiring leading to it was corroded too? All is good now after new maf

 

you messed with it thats why you know exactly what happened eh lol, maf wasn't dead it's just malfunction, a dead meat MAF would not start your engine !

 

Not sure what you mean by this buy I did not "mess around" with maf sensor aside from cleaning it 2 years ago when I first got the car.. The only reason I tried cleaning it was because others have suggested to try and clean it, I know what I'm doing as far as that.

 

I'm grat is nothing something serous like Transmission.
