can i rub my hose to clean all oem intake parts? will the filter get messed up?

i cleaned and dried the outside box and tube with water and cleaned the filter with a vacuum

 

Washing the box and intake tube is most likely going to be fine as long as you let it dry completely before using it again, as for the filter just go buy a new one the OEM filters are not meant to be cleaned and used again from what I know.

It still pertains to what he said, The actual filter is meant for 1 time use. It should be discarded after use. Unless you have a different drop in filter that specifies it can be re used after cleaning.

The actual intake box and tube shouldn't be a problem though.
