Default Brake booster? Help!

I have been having issues with my brakes since when I bought it back in 2014. I recently replaced my master cylinder in hopes it would solve it but it didn't. For the past few weeks, pretty much whenever I leave for work in the morning, when I leave work and when I go somewhere after work I have to push my brake pedal down twice as hard for it to start up. Could I possibly have a leak in my brake booster causing this? Also my brakes aren't touchy as other 4 wheel disc brake cars I've driven and was wondering if this could be the culprit as well.

Any help is appreciated, Thank you!

I've noticed that with my 2011 as well. I don't have any issue starting it up or braking, but when braking, if I release the brake pedal and press it again, pedal becomes stiffer than the 1st time.

It still brakes like a charm even on the ''first push of brake pedal'' though!

Figured out this was normal so I left it like that. Don't know what your issue might be. Good luck with that!

Just to confirm, the stiffer brake pedal is ONLY occurring after the car has sat, is cold, and is OFF? Has it occurred upon EVERY start-up, or does it come and go? If so, this what I've conveniently call the phantom stiff brake. I've had this occur multiple times, other members have, and no one seems to know where it comes from and how to get rid of it. The last time mine occurred, I just let it run its course. Lasted for at least three cold starts, and then went away on its own.

I hate to say its normal, when its not; but it doesn't appear to cause any issues I'm aware off except being a bit more difficult to depress the brake pedal to start the car.
