Default IS250 vs IS350 external block dimensions?

So I recently bought an IS250 because I couldn't pass up the price. Car is in great condition, minus the burned out bulb in the center console for the shifter. I plan on fixing that later this month.

But on to my question. From everything I can gather, the 250 and 350 have identical external dimensions mounting points for engine acc., etc. Am I correct?

The reason I ask is it would be nice to find a supercharger kit for the thing. I know, I should have bought a 350, but if you could have gotten the price for the car I just bought, you'd have done it too. 48k miles, all the options, never wrecked, bought from an old lady who used it to get around town, and recently decided to quit driving (82 years old), and I talked her down to $7200 because I brought my kids who were being super well behaved and she thought they were cute.

Yes, externally the engines are the same. The differences are all between the heads and the intake pipe.

Internally there are further differences obviously.

So has no one tried to put a 350's supercharger on a 250 with some mods? Seems like it would be fairly straight forward?

What am I missing here? I mean, I know I'm only working with 2.5 liters, but it seems like it would be fairly straight forward.

Depends how the supercharger mounts. Which supercharger are we referring to?

The HKS kit. Pretty much any bolt on centrifugal supercharger kit. I'd imagine the modifications would be minimal. Plus some port work with lower compression pistons and you could make the little 2.5 make 400+ I'd bet. With no mods I could see 300 with a proper tune.

The HKS kit will bolt onto the IS250. A member installed one and made nearly 300hp at 11+psi if I recall. However saying that.. I think he was running dangerously lean at that boost level.

I wouldn't expect to make that sort of power (or more) unless you can find a solution to get more fuel into the engine. I've got a Rotrex kit on my Is250 and this is currently what's limiting me in making more power.

No one makes bigger injectors? The fuel pump solution is not to tough.

Nobody makes bigger direct injectors as far as I'm aware.

I don't think no one even makes direct injection pistons yet.

Also what you've mentioned has been mentioned many times in the past since the 2IS was released back in 05 with very few success stories
