Default Vaistech kit

Anyone know the the difference between the iVic-5i and the iVic-5r? Also how's the volume is on par with the factory source Radio, CD player or do I have to turn up the volume when switching to vaistech source?

The iVIC-5DR is for Android devices and the iVIC-5i is for iOS. From what I have experienced the volume stays where it was when I was last listening to that source (i.e. FM, AM, or iVIC). Naturally, when you start the car the volume will be a little lower if you were blasting music when you last turned the car off. Make sure you get a device that lets you automate the whole iVIC app opening or that will get annoying. I have mine hooked up to a jail broken iPod touch so as soon as it starts getting power it opens the iVIC app on its own.
