So I have had 4 previous Lexus' in the past, all SC400's, (still have 2 of them) so the IS350 was a large jump from a 93 SC400 daily driver that has 320k miles to a 2006 IS350 with 160k miles. Drives like new, mechanically it is sound besides needing an oil change. There are a couple cosmetic imperfections on the exterior but those will be sorted out sooner than later. So far, I really like it.
Just introducing myself to the IS forum as I will be hanging over here more often...
I'll take more photos of it later when it is all clean. Filthy and covered in bugs after driving 700 miles home. Has just the Premium package. One owner, dealer serviced all its life, most recalls already performed.
Driving to work this morning, semi in front of me decided to drop a golf ball sized rock and shatter the windshield. Oh well, thats what happens when you buy a car...in texas...the windshield was pitted anyways...
It happened to me a few years ago and I had bought those Walmart DIY windshield repair kits. I was sceptical at first but it ended up being really effective! I even brought the car to a windshield repair shop and they said the repair was as strong as theirs would have been. Yours look too big to be repaired though
I hate those semis... Big trucks with no mud flaps as well.

My '06 IS350 windshield has taken a beating as well, but never cracked or anything at all. Wish it would so I could get a new one paid by insurance so I can get rid of the 10+ yrs worth of road debris pitting; really does cause bad glare at certain angles when driving towards the sun.

Just park yourself behind a semi in a construction zone and your windshield is bound to be cracked within minutes.
Here are a few cell phone photos. Not mint, but still in great shape.
The car was meticulously maintained at the dealer. He went to the dealership for everything. Was happy to find the original window sticker inside the mountain of dealer service records inside the glovebox. This guy kept everything...
